When Erica messaged me about doing Jack’s pictures, I was taken aback at the thought that it was possible for Jack to be a senior already! I swear, years go by so fast that I don’t even realize it, and then it slaps me in the face!
Nonetheless, we were super excited to get to head out to the Reid Ranch and do senior pics. We have had the privilege of getting to document many happy times there, and we love this family so much!
Jack is certainly no exception. He was fully trusting of us – which I’m sure he regretted halfway through the session, haha!- and we got some images that we absolutely love and are some of our favorites!
We wanted to do some pictures with Jack’s cow dog and at first the poor guy didn’t know what was going on, and we were afraid that he wouldn’t hang around for pictures, and before we even got started, the sweet old dog was photobombing every one of Jack’s pictures! Even after a jump down to the river and a helping hand back up the bank from Jack, even soaking wet and muddy- he felt that he was camera ready again :,) We had such a fun time, and got some great pictures.
We look forward to seeing what Jack has in store for his future as he graduates and is able to explore the world and see new things. It’s great being able to come back to Montana and know that even when you have wings to visit distant places, you will always have roots here to come back to and feel the warmth and comfort of old friends, of family, and of the comforting familiarity of home.
We hope that Jack had as much fun at this session as we did- here are a few of our faves…
