We are all familiar with those words, right? If you have gotten married, went to a wedding, or watched any number of movies on the silver screen, most likely you have heard them and know exactly what they mean. However, not everyone has experienced the true reality of those words.
Dan & Nicole, along with their two sweethearts of babies, haveexperienced the reality of those words, and much younger and earlier in their marriage than any should expect.
My brother is a blacksmith, and he has made beautiful knives for many years. A very expensive and difficult type of metal billet to obtain is Damascus. Damascus is an alloy of several different metals that have different qualities but complement each other. Through a process of high heat, high pressure, folding, grinding, shaping, the metal comes together and a beautiful thing is made.
This is exactly what has happened with this family. Just celebrating their fourth year of marriage, Dan and Nicole complement each other beautifully. They are both kind an loving, with happy laughs and ready smiles. However, the heat and pressure have been applied, through family illness, hospital stays, death of loved ones. Just like metals that work together, Dan and Nicole have come out on the other side stronger, maybe a little folded over at times, but a beautiful thing has been made, and now there are two other beautiful elements that have been added with Buddy and Abygail.
From the beautiful, loving, happy family that they have, you would never know the things they have faced to get to where they are. And just like true Damascus is a highly prized possession, they possess one of the seemingly elusive things in todays world, a happy family. They deserve the credit and happiness that we hope they are now able to enjoy!
We were so happy to get to be a small part of making some memories for you family to cherish forever! Thank you!
