I love going home after a session and looking through our photographs that we’ve just captured. It’s kind of like getting to do the shoot all over again, but in my own house. Ha.

As I’m culling pictures, sometimes, Denton will watch me and say “You’re smiling. They must be good.”

He’s right, in a sense. I am happy when I look and see pictures that I love, some of my favorites, and that they turned out just as I had imagined. There’s more to it than that, however. When I am looking through a session and see the grins, the smiles and the outright laughter, it makes laughter and joy bubble up in my heart all over again!

Christian was SUCH a wonderful guy to work with! He was sport for trekking into the woods where we wanted to shoot, but he had the best, I mean the absolute BEST laughs and smiles!

He was so genuine and happy, up for anything and we had the best time with this guy!

So yes, he was supposed to be the one smiling for the camera, and he did a fantastic job, but MY face was tired by the time the shoot was over from smiling the whole time as well! : ) Then as I was home going through these and working on them, I had the same smiles and the same joy all over again!

Keep it up, Christian. Keep the joy and the laughter and the smiles. Sometimes the world is tough and wants to beat us down, but in those moments, we need more people like you. People who are happy and can smile and laugh and enjoy life. Don’t ever lose it! It’s a wonderful quality and we were honored to get to meet you and capture these moments for you!
