Some things stay in style for ages. Some things stay in style long after they should be old news. Then there are things that should be in style that just aren’t anymore. Like ladies hats, or good old fashioned gallantry. Or, ambition.

I love so many of our seniors that we get to work with, because they seem to bring life back to that faded, lovely thing that has been out of style for so long – ambition.

With bright eyes, happy smiles and eager minds, they are ready to take on the world, and win. They have plans, they aren’t giving up, they are going to fight for what they want in order to attain it. Having ambition is such a vital part of living, yet as the world fights against us, sometimes we give it up. I know I have, at times. But to see the excitement and joy in the faces of these beautiful young people who have plans and exciting futures lined out, it refreshes my own sense of ambition and joy.

Jacqueline was a fine example of this. She is just into her senior year of high school, with plans to become an engineer. Cool, right? She isn’t happy, however, to just sit back and wait to graduate high school before chasing that dream. Currently, she is taking classes now to get her college credits ahead so that when she graduates high school, she is ahead of the game and ready to jump in. Good for you, girl!

Splitting her time between Billings and Wolf Point, she seems well adjusted and happy, a good foot to start out on anytime. She was even willing to get muddy and get in the river for a few fun photos!

We enjoyed our time with you, Jacquline, and hope that you continue to chase your dreams and nourish your ambition, it will serve you well! We hope that these photos give you something to look back on and bring a smile to you face at where it all started for you as you graduate and move on the big things! Have a great senior year!
