I think that teaching is something we are all familiar with. It’s a part of nearly every child’s life. The teacher that they have, many times, has a lasting impact on their lives as adults.

Yet, how many times do we see write ups, documentaries or newspaper articles talking about the unsung heroes that teachers prove themselves to be? They talk about how teachers are overworked, underpaid and members of our communities that exhaust themselves to spend so much of their time and energy in helping others to become better people.

When it comes to Rainey and her family, we cannot emphasize how true all of these things are.

After the days supposed ‘work’ is over, she is still at school, working on lesson plans, party ideas, events and conferences.

The love and time that she puts into her job isn’t just ‘work’, she does it to help the children that she has in her class. To teach them what they will need to become healthy, happy, contributing members to our community and she puts her heart and her love into it. Talk about an unsung hero.

Rainey, you and your family have our admiration and support for the love and care you and your beautiful family show in helping others and the MASSIVE contribution you all make to our small community here in Wolf Point.
