“[His] expressions of affection are better than wine… my dear one is mine, and I am his.”
Marriage truly is one of the greatest gifts and most wonderful arrangements humans can enter into.
To have that one person to lean on. To come home to, and yes, argue with on occasion, is the most complete feeling of contentment that a soul can experience.
Knowing that this person is always going to be there for you. Always going to come back to you. Is going to grow old with you.
Denton and I have been married for nearly ten years now (Almost a decade- how did that happen?!) and we LOVE celebrating the marriages of others!
Kaoki and Reba have this wonderful future ahead of them this fall, and we CANNOT wait for their wedding! EEK!
We had planned their engagement session back when the wind was howling and the snow was knee deep, so we didn’t know how this date was going to work out.
Growing up in Glasgow, Montana, Fort Peck Lake has some special memories for them and we really wanted to be able to do the shoot for them there, so we were thrilled
when the day dawned and the everlasting wind had dried out the mud enough to make it happen! Hey. Look. The wind is good for something, after all…
Kaoki and Reba, we had such a lovely time with you both! We can’t wait for your beautiful wedding and the official start of your wonderful lives together!
We truly are so happy for you and know that you will have a great life together! Thank you so much for inviting us to be a part of your lives, and your special day,
we are counting down the days along with you!
Anyway, I love these pictures too much to write much more, and can’t wait to make a much longer post in September! Here they are!
